Overview:
Freshwater is the only kind of water that is possible to drink. It keeps us sustained and standing during the day, and alive while we sleep during the night. Humans are made of about 50-65% water, which makes it very important to us. But are we the only beings that use this water? No, we're not. Fish, shrimp, crayfish, clams, eels, dolphins, alligators, otters, hippopotamus, deer, birds, insects, frogs, salamanders, and turtles also need this valuable resource; just to name a few. All animals need water to survive, whether they drink it or they use different ways of chemically creating it, they need the substance. Life and death play a dangerous game of teeter-totter in the Freshwater biome.
